The risk to networks from viruses is not new but it is still a major issue.  A computer virus is malicious software that copies itself from computer to computer. MailMarshal can use a number of anti-virus products through special high-throughput DLL interfaces. These include McAfee for Marshal, as well as Norman, Sophos, Panda, and the Symantec Anti-Virus Scan Engine. You can deploy more than one scanner to give extra confidence.

MailMarshal Reports give you the ability to review blocked viruses, and to contact and educate your users who may be receiving email from suspect sources.  The McAfee for Marshal solution provides integrated licensing and a customized upgrade component. Marshal also provides licensing for the Norman and Sophos solutions. Other supported scanners are licensed through their respective vendors.
